Book wide text

The first tract in this manuscript, "Regimen Sanitatis ad Regem Aragonum," is a guide to health for the king of Aragon. The author, Arnoldus de Villanova, was physician to Peter III of Aragon and Pope Clement V. He is known for introducing alcohol and medicinal wines into the materia medica. The second work is anonymous and includes medical notes in two later hands. The third is "Dietarium" by John of Toledo (Cardinal John Tolet). The final short medical tract is anonymous.
