Bound together in this volume are the “Tractatus de Floebotomia”, divided into twenty chapters that deal with blood-letting (folios 1-5); “De Urinis”, divided into twenty-seven chapters (folios 6-13); “De Pulsibus”, the shortest of the four texts that was published separately (folio 14); and “De Regimine Sanitatis”, also known as “De Conservation Vitae Humanae”, a name that is sometimes used to refer to the work as a whole. The longest of the four parts, this work is divided into twenty-seven chapters that deal with general health, i.e. sexual intercourse, diet, hygiene, etc.
